CYBERQUIP Crane Simulators provide best of class training for your crane operators, without reduction in productivity or risk to equipment.
Poor operator skills and habits can have a significant impact on safety and productivity in crane operations.
CYBERQUIP Crane Simulators use cutting-edge simulator technology and highly sophisticated training techniques to rapidly develop and hone operators’ skill and experience levels without exposing equipment or operators to unnecessary risks.
ThoroughTec’s high-fidelity crane simulators are true to the original vehicle in every way, from the ergonomics of the cab with authentic replication of the operator interface, to highly accurate behavioural characteristics of the equipment being simulated. CYBERQUIP Cranes operate in a high-fidelity 3D virtual environments with dedicated areas where the operator can practice various driving and hoisting tasks all within the safety of the simulator.
It’s in this world that your operator will hone his or her skills and experience, so that your site operates as safely and efficiently as possible.
Benefits of Simulation Training
Accurate Vehicle Replication
The CYBERQUIP Crane Simulator operator views the simulated world on three high resolution, wide screen projected displays strategically located about the crane operator’s cab to allow the effective execution of both driving and lifting operations. The entire crane simulator cab is replicated to provide all driving and crane compartment instrumentation and controls, correctly located about the operator. Any crane, including mobile crane, crawler crane and port crane, from any manufacturer, such as Liebherr, Grove, Tadano, Demag, Konecranes, Kobelco and Zoomlion
Virtual Crane World
CYBERQUIP Crane Simulators are delivered with a highly realistic, 3D operating world which is based on a real site, be it a construction site, port or other operation. The 3D construction world for example includes incomplete buildings, pipework, tarred and gravel roads, construction vehicles and a crane transport vehicle in support of the crane operator training and evaluation process.
Training and Evaluation Tools
CYBERQUIP Crane Simulator exercises may be configured to address various training requirements such as: crane set up, truss placement, pipe laying, various loading and unloading, container lifting, general driving and rough terrain driving. To further complement the training exercise, the instructor has the capability of selecting weather conditions, sub-system failures and advanced emergency situations.
The CYBERQUIP Crane Simulator continually monitors the crane operator’s performance, recording cycle times, adherence to safety procedures, correct equipment handling and response to emergency situations and failures. The resultant performance reports together with the instructor’s after-action review capability provide a complete training and evaluation system.
CYBERQUIP Crane Simulators provide an excellent training and evaluation tool for crane operators to improve safety and productivity on the construction site.
